I’m Genene Edwards, a qualified, experienced online piano teacher. Tuition is mostly online, but i do  have limited spaces for in-person lessons here at Piano Rascal in Barnsbury, Islington. I’ve been teaching music for 25 years building a successful music practice in London and worldwide online – giving customized  piano lessons to suit you. I thank my students who have highly recommended my work. It’s been great to watch them get that ‘feel good’ sense of achievement from learning piano. It can be challenging, but we always have time for some rascally fun in the lessons!

Why one to one music tuition?

It’s great to teach yourself piano from YouTube videos or books. However if you are considering this, I would recommend taking one to one lessons beforehand. This will set you up with good technical and practical knowledge. This is not just a plug for piano teachers! This individual attention can prevent bad habits forming. Poor technique and musical know how often puts a limit on how far you can progress. As an experienced piano teacher online, I observe and nurture the specific needs of each individual student. I customize lessons and practice for every individual student.
